Easter

We had a fun Easter this year. We went to Aaron's sister's house for an Easter egg hunt. The kids always have such a great time with each other.

We made a bunny cake and dyed eggs the Sat. night before Easter. Nothing like waiting to the last min.

After church we went to my parents house for lunch and another egg hunt. My sister and her family got to come up.

Aaron was on the back porch reading the paper while we were getting lunch ready. Courtney decided she needed to catch up on the news too.

Courtney got to hold Baby Peyton. So cute. They girls actually matched that day.

Let's just call this the winter months

These pictures are of Christmas and snow days. Some are very much out of order. They had their own tree this year. They had a lot of fun getting to decorate it. They even made a few decorations for their tree.

Okay, this actually Christmas morning.(a little out of order) Jacob got Wii Resort from Santa. Played it the whole Christmas break.

Courtney got a whole bunch of dress up clothes. Why Sanata brought them both a recorder? I DON'T KNOW!!

They made a special cookie for Santa.

A Little Bit of Everything

Here is what's been going on since the last time I posted. My sister had her little girl "Peyton" on October 13th. This is a picture of mom, Katie and me pre-Peyton.

Mom and Peyton doing well.
Me and little Peyton. So cute!!

I was afraid I wouldn't get to hold her much with all the grand parents there but I think I actually held her more than they did.

Jacob had crazy hair day at school. This is how he wanted to wear his hair.

Jacob playing soccer. I only brought my camera to one game.

Courtney playing during the game.

Courtney was playing outside one afternoon and was making Tex a very nice dinner.

Is she really going to make me eat this?

This is Miss Courtney pretty much all the time. She is ALWAYS dressing up. This picture actually reminds me of a picture of my sister when she was little dressed up with a hat like this, glasses and pushing a stroller. What do you think Katie?

Aaron and Jacob carving our pumpkin.

Courtney was a cheerleader for halloween.

Jacob was a ninja.

Vacation

We took the kids to the beach at Perdido Key this year. It was actually the first trip we have taken with just the four of us. We drove half way and spent the night in Mississippi. The next day we got up and drove a few hours to Mobile and went through the battleship. Jacob really had a great time. He really enjoyed seeing the guns, planes and the submarine. Courtney, not so much. It was very hot and she had to be carried through the whole thing. Needless to say Courtney and mama were very tired by the end.

That was the wrong shirt for her that day. She was hot, tired and needed food. Thank goodness for our chill pills(smarties)!

We stayed at a place called Beach Colony. Very nice!!!!

Poor Jacob! His job was to go fill buckets for his little sister.

You can't get a good picture of this kid. She won't ever look at the camera.

Washing the sand off. What a good brother.

Just hanging out in the condo.

Jacob playing catch with a little boy. Doesn't he look like a little stud here? Look out ladies!

I had gone to fill a bucket up with water for her and came back and this is what I found in my chair.

We took Jacob to ride go carts one night.

On our last day we got the kids ice cream. There was actually an ice cream man that came around. I thought that was pretty neat.
