Vacation

We took the kids to the beach at Perdido Key this year. It was actually the first trip we have taken with just the four of us. We drove half way and spent the night in Mississippi. The next day we got up and drove a few hours to Mobile and went through the battleship. Jacob really had a great time. He really enjoyed seeing the guns, planes and the submarine. Courtney, not so much. It was very hot and she had to be carried through the whole thing. Needless to say Courtney and mama were very tired by the end.

That was the wrong shirt for her that day. She was hot, tired and needed food. Thank goodness for our chill pills(smarties)!

We stayed at a place called Beach Colony. Very nice!!!!

Poor Jacob! His job was to go fill buckets for his little sister.

You can't get a good picture of this kid. She won't ever look at the camera.

Washing the sand off. What a good brother.

Just hanging out in the condo.

Jacob playing catch with a little boy. Doesn't he look like a little stud here? Look out ladies!

I had gone to fill a bucket up with water for her and came back and this is what I found in my chair.

We took Jacob to ride go carts one night.

On our last day we got the kids ice cream. There was actually an ice cream man that came around. I thought that was pretty neat.

Courtney turned 2!!!!!

Courtney's birthday was July 23rd. We were leaving for vacation the next day so I just had a small party for her. We had the grandparents over for dinner and cake. My thought was, "I'm not going to have a big party this year beacause she won't even remember it and we are leaving the next day and I'll go crazy trying to get everything done." So....everything turned out really cute and we had a great time.

She did really good blowing out her candles. I didn't really know how she would do.

The grandparents!

My mom and dad got her a backpack. She loves it!!!

Jacob got her a baby bag for her babies. What a good brother!

In one of her gifts I put some smarties. We call these are chill pills. They really come in handy when we are having a melt down.

Aaron's parents got her this. Needless to say it was the favorite.
